It's a big day for the Finch team. Today, we begin the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator in partnership with The Nature Conservancy, an intensive three-month program in Boulder, Colorado. In case you're not familiar with Techstars, it's a global series of accelerators, each with its own specific focus, that provide selected startups with hands-on mentorship from some of the brightest minds in their respective fields. What we love about the Boulder program is that it's designed specifically 'for entrepreneurs focused on building a world where people and nature can thrive together'.

Over the next three months, we'll be getting a ton of feedback from new mentors, environmentalists, tech experts, and more to help us strengthen everything we do here at Finch and make sure that you get the best possible science-backed insights at your fingertips. According to our founder, Lizzie Horvitz, getting accepted to the Techstars accelerator is really a dream come true: 'My expectations were fairly low when I applied to Techstars because they get so many applicants and the caliber of companies is really high,' she said. 'But, after two months of conversations, including three internal strategy sessions and four interviews, Zach Nies, the Managing Director of the program, shared that the dream had become a reality. We're so thrilled.'

Between when we received our acceptance and now, we've been preparing for how we take advantage of every single opportunity this presents to us. We'll spend long days (and probably nights) perfecting our pitch, growing our user base, improving our data, and laying the groundwork to make Finch everything it can be. We've set big goals for what we want to achieve by December and we can't wait to share our progress along the way.

Finch is growing so quickly and we've learned so much since starting this company in March 2020. It feels like we enter a new phase every few months. We're so fortunate to be entering this new stage with the support of Techstars and know there will be a lot more exciting changes ahead.
